The Nani Bucket, by Sabyasachi Accessories, is the first item on our wish list. "My grandmother's 'batua' (wallet) fascinated me. It was a humble Potli bag made with black khaki and lined with a delicious pomegranate pink velvet. Because of her generous donations from her batua, we were able to stave off the sweltering summer heat of the mid 80's Calcutta with ice lollies, matinee movies, and even the occasional Thums Up. For me, the batua is India's national handbag", says designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The Potli with a modern twist is now available for pre- orders at all flagship at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Kolkata for INR 69,500, with deliveries starting 15th August 2020 onwards. If you don't have that intimate wedding to attend, then think of another excuse to get your hands on this creation.
