Kajal and Shruthi Ramakrishnan played the female leads in the Tamil flick along with actor Jivva, and other artists like Sunaina, RJ Balaji, Karnuakaran, Manthra etc. The film was released in Telugu as well. Kajal’s character in the flick was that of a very headstrong, independent woman with a soft, feminine core.
We tried to strike that balance with either the fabrics or silhouette. So say if we’re going for structured trousers, we’d team it with a softer top. If the silhouette is flirty and feminine, we have chosen scuba fabric. For one of her looks, we went for a quirky print to bring out the playfulness of her character.
We underplayed the hair and makeup, opted for a simple and natural look to let the print stand out. For another look we used the mesh/cold shoulder combination, which was in vogue this year. Again, the print is playful and quirky to suit her character for the film.
We also noticed that Kajal is effortlessly classic. She is hassle-free and looks great with minimal make up, accessories and clothing. At best, she would go for one statement piece of jewellery and she looked beautiful in her basic look. It was fun styling her for this film.
