The model-turned-actress will play an important role in Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi, the biopic of the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

The actress will appear in the flashback sequences with Arvind Swami, who plays the role of the late legendary actor-politician MG Ramachandran.

Vidya Pradeep posted a picture of herself with Arvind Swami from the sets of the film and wrote, “With MGR Arvind Swami Sir for Thalaivi. Sharing screen space with him was a dream come true because he was my first crush during my school days. Grateful to my Director Vijay Sir.”(SIC) Bankrolled by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh, the film will hit the screens on June 26.
