Talking to DT Next, the director of the film SK Vettri Selvan said, “We auditioned a lot of actors for the role. It was Vamsi, who fit the bill. He plays a mafia who is based abroad and is a very suave character.” The team took off to the US to get Vamsi’s costume ready for the film. “Despite lockdown, we flew to the US and got Vamsi’s costume done. We also shot in Mount Rushmore, Los Angeles. It was only his portions that were pending. We are finishing it off in the final schedule. We are now shooting for his action sequences in Chennai that also features Jai,” the director added. Vettri also complemented Jai and said, “There were many rumours of Jai not showing up at shoot on time. Having worked with him, I can tell you that those are all rumours and false allegations. He is punctual and doesn’t deserve to be portrayed as an absentee.” The filming will also take place in Kerala and Meghalaya in upcoming days.
