“After financing films for quite a few years, we decided to venture into production with this film. I play a psychiatrist in the film. Nandini Rai and Shrita Shivadas play female leads. The story revolves around black magic,” Kishan told DT Next. 

On Jayam Ravi and Thaman unveiling the title, Kishan said, “He is my childhood friend and we went to the same acting school in Mumbai. I took care of dad’s business of financing and distributing films. When Ashtakarma came to me I believed the time is right to foray into acting. I believe that script is the hero because I have seen several films being tweaked for the hero’s mass appeal. Hence, I decided that I would be a part of films in which the story is the hero. The film, which is bilingual is in its post-production stages.” 

Directed by Vijay Tamilselvan, Guru Dev has handled the camera while LV Muthu Ganesh has composed the music
