STR to shoot for Maanadu in Malaysia

After spending some quality time in London, STR began shooting for his project with Hansika and their pictures from the sets were an instant hit on social media.

The latest update is that the actor will begin working on Venkat Prabhu’s Maanadu in August and major portions of it will be shot in Malaysia.

A source in the know of things says, “The first schedule of the film will be shot in Malaysia with STR and Kalyani Priyadarshan. Other details will be announced officially in the coming weeks.” Interestingly, there are also speculations that veteran director Bharathiraja has been approached to play a crucial role in the film. Rumours are that he will have a grey shade and will be seen playing the role of a politician.

Meanwhile, STR will also shoot for a gangster film, which also features Gautham Karthik as one of the leads. The film will be directed by Narthan and produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green.
