CHENNAI: Ace cinematographer PC Sreeram has defended the tell-all speech made by Chief Minister MK Stalin at his party’s 15th general council meeting on Sunday, October 9.
Taking to social media to laud the strength of Stalin for making the statement, Sreeram said, “To speak one’s mind in public needs a strong mind. Mr MK Stalin has gone one step further to speak the truth to all.” “This shows his strength in today’s world of direct communication and being open and fearless. He stands tall,” Sreeram added.
The established cinematographer has made his thoughts about Stalin’s speech known even as the opposition was slamming Stalin for exposing his weakness. While the ruling AIADMK called it a weakness and inability of the Chief Minister to reign in on his cabinet colleagues, opposition BJP also dubbed it as an exasperated Stalin venting his frustration at the alleged anti-Hindu remarks made by his party colleagues in public.
Speaking at the general council, Stalin, who was unanimously elected party president for the second term, said that his party men give him sleepless nights owing to their careless statements and act in public.
