Nagarjuna to replace Rajini in Dhanush’s next directorial venture

Following the success of his directorial debut in Pa Paandi, Dhanush has started working for his next directorial venture. Sources informed us that the actor had plans to rope in Rajinikanth for the project.

However, the superstar’s prior engagements were in conflict and made the actor unavailable for the shoot. “Nagarjuna will now replace Rajini’s role and will start working for the movie once lockdown eases,” said the source. In a recent interview, Dhanush had expressed his desire to shoot Rajini for a movie and also share screen space with the star. The duo earlier worked in Pa Ranjith’s Kaala which was released by Dhanush’s production house, Wunderbar Films. Dhanush just completed working for Jagame Thanthiram, helmed by Karthik Subbaraj.
