Vivek made his debut as a lyricist with the film  'Enakkul Oruvan' starring Siddharth.

Vivek has since written several super hit songs in Tamil. The Tamil song  'Aalaporaan Thamizhan' written by him in actor Vijay's movie 'Mersal' is considered as one of the very popular by Vijay’s fans.

According to the latest report, he is roped in to write the screenplay and script for Dhanush-Karthick Naren's 'D43'  movie.

Vivek also feels lucky to be associated with Dhanush, Karthick Naren, G V Prakash and Malavikamohan. The music is composed by GV Prakash and‘Master’ movie fame Malavika Mohanan will be paired with Dhanush in this film.

The project will be bank rolled by Sathyajothi Films.
