CHENNAI: Actor-politician Kamal Haasan on Tuesday shared an emotional message on his Twitter as the versatile filmmaker-actor T. Rajendar, who suffered a cardiac arrest earlier and was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, is leaving to the US for further treatment.
The actor took to Twitter and shared a photo of himself with T. Rajendar and Kuralarasan and wrote, "My dear brother, come back with good health". (sic)
According to reports, TR, his wife Usha, son Kuralarasan and daughter Ilakkya will be taking off to the US tonight and return only after complete recovery.
On May 24, STR, son of the filmmaker, himself issued a statement on his father’s health condition. The statement read, "Hello to my dearest fans and dear media friends. My father suffered a cardiac arrest and was admitted to a private hospital. During diagnosis, it was found out that there was a minor bleeding in his abdomen. He will be taken abroad for further treatment and will be back to shape soon. Thank you for your prayers and thanks to everyone”. (sic)
