On Tuesday, the makers of the film made an official announcement that the film will be directed by Fredrick, who had previously helmed Jyotika’s Ponmagal Vandhaal. To be produced by Thiyagarajan’s Star Movies, the pre production work of the film is taking place at a rapid pace. The makers are in talks with a few leading actresses to reprise Tabu’s role from the original. Prashanth has apparently shed 20 kilos for the role. The actor is also a trained piano player and his skills should come in handy to play the role of a blind piano player.
