Baahubali writer in talks to pen dialogues for Mahabharata adaptation

In a major announcement, KV Vijayendra Prasad, the popular screenwriter from the south who is widely known for penning the Baahubali series, told the media that he was in talks to write the dialogues for the Mahabharata adaptation.

The writer said that he was currently engaged in talks with Bollywood actor Aamir Khan for the project. It is worth mentioning that the Bollywood icon had shown in the mythological epic and also had spoken about his plans to bring the story to the silver screen.

 “Aamir Khan and I have started talking about Mahabharat. We will begin working on the script soon but it is too soon to share details about the film,” Prasad told media in a recent interaction. The veteran screenwriter rose to fame for writing acclaimed films including Baahubali series (directed by his son SS Rajamouli), Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Mersal, among others.
