Arya is playing a boxer in his upcoming with Pa Ranjith, tentatively titled 'Arya 30.'

He has revealed working stills of the film where he is seen 'squaring off' with film's director Pa Ranjith.

Both posed in a clenched-fist position with Arya in boxing attire.

Pa Ranjith is known for capturing poignant stories of Dalit community and bringing freshness to the mainstream cinema.

That being the case, his next with Arya is sure to be a socio-sports drama. Also, going by the retro style mustache and old films posters on the set, this film may also be a period film.

In his tweet, Arya called this a dream come true project thanking actor Kalaiyarasan and Pa Ranjith for making it happen and also said he learnt a lot from actors Pasupathi and Santhosh.
