The actor looked like a professional boxer and was seen kneeling down inside the boxing ring, with his hands in the air. However, within a few minutes, Arun Vijay took to Twitter to reveal that he himself wasn’t aware about the film’s first look release. He also explained why the makers of the film were forced to release the first look without any promotions. Arun Vijay said, “Boxer first look did surprise me as I wasn’t informed about it. It’s been only a week since we released the first look of another film, Mafia, and so, I thought that releasing poster of Boxer wasn’t a good decision from makers. I struggled for more than nine months to prepare for this character. But only when I contacted the producers of the film, they explained me that the film’s first look poster was leaked online a day before and they had no other options except to launch it the very next day.” He added, “I am happy about the response for my look though.”
