Europa League: United, Arsenal learn of Round of 32 opponents

United qualified as winners of their group while Brugge dropped down the Champions League after finishing third in their group behind Paris St Germain and Real Madrid.

Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal will be facing Belgium's Club Brugge and Greece's Olympiakos respectively as the draw for the Round of 32 stage of the UEFA Europa League was revealed on Monday.

United qualified as winners of their group while Brugge dropped down the Champions League after finishing third in their group behind Paris St Germain and Real Madrid. Arsenal also finished top of their group while their opponents Olympiakos finished third in the Champions League group behind Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, the third Premier League team in the tournament, will face Spanish side Espanyol. In what is their first European outing since 1980-81, this will be the Wolves' first game against a Spanish side since their 9-2 aggregate defeat to Barcelona in the 1959-60 European Cup quarter finals.

The 2018-19 Champions League semi-finalists Ajax, who narrowly exited the Champions League group stage, will face Spanish side Getafe while Italian giants Inter face Bulgaria's Ludogorets.
