World to be more stable, peaceful place as long as China, Russia cooperate - Beijing

"China and Russia, being major powers and the permanent members of the UN Security Council, have a big responsibility in international relations ? As long as China and Russia stick together, the world will be safer, more peaceful and stable," Wang told an annual press conference.

Beijing and Moscow maintained constant contacts on the majority of international issues and shared views on these topics, Wang continued.

The top diplomat argued that in 2019, China and Russia would work on strengthening strategic coordination and observing the principles and goals outlined in the UN Charter.
