Israel police recommend indictment of PM Netanyahu in bribery case: Report
Israeli police on Sunday recommended bribery charges against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu in a case involving Israel's telecom giant.
Authorities allege that Netanyahu awarded favours to Bezeq Telecom in return for more positive coverage of him and his wife.
Israeli police have revealed that sufficient evidence has been found to bring about major corruption and fraud charges against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife in a third corruption case against the leader.
The attorney general will now decide whether to bring indictments in the case, according to local news media report.
