Trump announced a rollback of a rule that allows employers to cover birth control in healthcare plan

The Keep Birth Control Copay Free campaign created a website where women could send a bill to the White House, showing how much their birth control would cost if their employers chose to no longer cover it, reports The Hill magazine.

Women can plug their prescription contraception into the website and the tool sends the bill for the calculated cost to the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services. The bills also doubles as a registered comment against the move and will be submitted to the Federal Register.

The Trump administration announced earlier this month a rollback of an Obamacare rule that required employers to cover birth control in their healthcare plans. The move could impact millions who get birth control under the rule without having to make co-payments.

Trump approval rating dips to new low

US President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dipped to a new low in the latest Fox News poll. According to the poll, 38 per cent of voters approve of the job Trump was doing, down from 42 per cent last month. At the same time, disapproval is up 4 points to a high of 57 per cent which includes 49 per cent who “strongly” disapprove. The findings highlight a continued erosion of support for the President, who received low mark across several major policy areas.
