GOING VIRAL: Sad Ben Affleck video sweeps the Internet
The much awaited Batman V Superman that hit the screens on Friday has been pummelled by critics and the audiences with memes flying thick and fast on social media. And it appears that at least a few barbs are starting to affect Batman V Superman star Ben Affleck, as a viral video surfaced which seems to show the star’s heart breaking in real time when he is asked about the bad reviews.

In the clip, co-star Henry Cavill sits next to Ben as they are asked about the critical ‘mixed response’ to the film. The video then cuts to a collection of extremely negative headlines pertaining to the movie. ‘Batman v Superman will make you hate Batman, Superman and The Justice League,’ proclaimed one of the first reviews.Â
Henry then starts to answer the question, but the camera actually begins zooming in on a dejected-looking Ben.Â
The tear-jerking song The Sound of Silence, then starts playing in the background. By the end, Ben still looks quite sad, and his only contribution to the discussion is a muted ‘I agree.’Â
The video then went on to be shared over a million times in no time.Â
