GOING VIRAL: Disney’s The Jungle Book trailer evokes nostalgia

The movie evokes memories of the cartoon that was a rage among kids in the 90s. The Disney’s version is directed by Jon Favreau, the film stars newcomer Neel Sethi as Mowgli, a man‐cub who’s been raised by a wolf pack. The trailer introduces Bill Murray as Baloo the bear, Christopher Walken as King Louie the orangutan and Ben Kingsley as the friendly panther, Bagheera. 

Expected to become one of the most popular and visually stunning movies of the year, The Jungle Book not only takes the classic and well‐loved story of Mowgli the man cub to an entirely new level of storytelling, but the amazing CGI and visual effects bring all of the Disney characters we love, to life. Aired first time at the Super Bowl 50, it instantly started trending on social media.
