    ​​Baby dies after Bilawal Bhutto's security allegedly stopped family from entering hospital

    Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chief was caught up in a political controversy following the death of a 10-month-old baby girl who was allegedly denied entry in a state-owned hospital in Karachi due to his visit.

    Thegirl died after her father was allegedly denied entry by security staff at theKarachi's Civil Hospital that was closed during Mr Bilawal's visit, mediareports said.

    PPPchief, along with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, had visited thehospital to inaugurate Trauma Centre named after his mother and former PrimeMinister Benazir Bhutto.

    Thegirl's father said his child died as she did not get treatment due to the VIPprotocol.

    "FirstI came through bike, then on foot but was denied entry, in the meantime my babygirl died," he said.

    Apparentlyall the entry and exit points of the hospital were closed and even ambulanceswere not allowed to enter the hospital during the visit. 

    Afterthe incident was reported, Mr Bilawal said he was deeply troubled by the deathof child and has also ordered an inquiry.

    Hetweeted "Anguished over Bisma's death. Am personally inquiring into thisheart breaking incident to ascertain what went wrong."
