—Suriya K, Puzhal

Without warmup or practice if you start doing isometric exercises like weightlifting or long treadmill suddenly, it will exert sudden pressure on heart and may increase the risk of heart attack. Sometimes heart attack happens in some of the young athletes especially while playing or exercising or involve in sports, most of times are not so sudden. But, it happens if anybody have some previous heart diseases like breath defects, anomalous coronary arteries, genetic heart swelling known as cardio myopathy etc. That is why it is better to screen before you take part in heavy, championship or sporty exercises.
