1) When buying sweets choose from options that are made with natural sweeteners
2) Have a glass of buttermilk with three amlas and a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds. If amla and fenugreek are taken regularly, one can bring down sugar levels to a large extent
3) A glass of warm water with one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar half hour before lunch and dinner will do wonders. Apple cider vinegar is loaded with vitamins and can control sugar
4) Have a small glass of wheatgrass juice on empty stomach as soon as you wake up
5) Do not let the festival be a reason to skip exercise. Follow your regular exercise regime to stay healthy
6) If you are planning to go out for dinner or a card party eat less through the day but don’t starve yourself. Eat a light snack before going out to avoid binge eating
