Fitness Mantra: Vijay Devarakonda reveals his favourite cheat meal is a burger
Vijay Devarakonda said during an interview three years ago, “I have to lose weight for this character (Arjun Reddy) and since I don’t have enough money to appoint a personal fitness trainer, I somehow manage to train. I hope these things become easier in the future.”

Today, with a perfectly chiseled physique, he is one of the actors who makes sure to keep fitness his priority — in fact, the NOTA actor says that he is happy to be in a profession that requires him to be physically and mentally fit at all times. In an effort to keep up his physique and look good all the time, Vijay follows a special diet. In a recent interview with a magazine, he revealed his fitness secret and a special workout advice for his fans as well. The Dear Comrade star said, “I avoid as much as sugar possible because refined sugar is not good for us… this is my advice to everyone. Eat a lot of vegetables,” he added.
The actor also revealed that he loves burgers and that it is fine to cheat once a weak. He shared, “I love burgers… I love food in general. I am happy to try out Mexican food at various restaurants during my free time, but all while keeping my fitness regimen in mind. On a daily basis, I make sure I eat healthy.” Vijay also mentioned his favourite fitness workout — “I love playing different forms of sport such as volleyball, badminton, cricket and so on.”
