Fitness changes views on health: Parineeti
Among all the transformation tales of Bollywood, actress Parineeti Chopra is one of the latest ones. The Ishaqzaade actress may have won millions of hearts thanks to her acting talent, but now she’s hogging the limelight due to her weight loss journey.

Not many actors openly admit to being overweight, but Parineeti not only accepts it but even talks openly about feeling unfit and overweight.
“All my life, I have struggled with how I look, how I feel, and how people looked at me. I was constantly made fun of, but the person I was, I generously laughed with them.
Today, many people ask me what triggered the weight loss, did I give in to the ‘Bollywood pressure’? To that I say — thank God I became an actor and had that pressure. I am able to achieve what I couldn’t achieve otherwise.”
She hated working out but exercise became her best friend when she set out to achieve her weight loss goal. Her workout routine revolved around running on the treadmill, horse riding, swimming or practising Kalar ipayattu.
She also started taking dance classes, which not only helped her in improving her dancing skills but also in losing weight. The actor also incorporated meditation into her daily routine to keep her mind healthy as well. Parineeti also asserted that fitness is not only about changing the way you look. “It is also changing your perspective towards health and harmony.”
