Milind’s 76-year-old mother Usha Soman was spotted recently running along with her son in Manor, a district near Thane. The video was shared on The Great Indian Run’s Facebook page and has now gone viral. In the video, she can be seen running effortlessly alongside her son, clad in a sari, in the final leg of ‘The Great India Run’, from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, which Milind completed in just eight days. This isn’t Mrs Soman’s first rodeo — she earlier participated in several 100-km walks. In 2014, she covered 100 kms barefoot in less than 48 hours for a fundraiser. Everyone says that age is just a number, but here’s one woman proving it with her actions.
