Not drinking enough water can bring some not-so-good changes in your body. Here are 5 signs you are not drinking enough of this magical liquid.

    The dry-mouth syndrome.

Having a dry mouth can be a sign of dehydration. The best solution is to keep a bottle of water at arm’s length and reach out whenever you feel the urge. Remember that some meds can also cause a dry mouth. Water acts as a lubricant, which keeps the mucus membranes moist in the throat.

Your skin is scrappy and dry.

Dry skin is one of the most suggestive signs of dehydration, which can lead to bigger problems like lack of sweat and therefore the body’s inability to wash off dirt. Drink up enough water to keep your skin supple and smooth.

    You are fighting constant headaches.

If you’ve been battling mild to moderate headaches frequently combined with symptoms like dehydration it could be simply because of lack of water intake. It’s a simple sign to drink more water.

Your urine is dark in colour.

This may sound gross but dark-coloured urine is a clear sign of dehydration. So if you’ve notice the colour change to a deeper shade then you must drink more water.

You have trouble with dry eyes.

If you’ve got bloodshot eyes it could be due to dehydration which can also lead to drying up your tear ducts. This could harm your eyes and you must resort to drinking more water immediately.
