A video showing an elephant being transported in a truck has gone viral on social media. The elephant is seen struggling to stay inside the truck and tries to get off midway. A nationalist party linked the video to PETA India, accusing it of torturing the elephant, and compelling it to jump off the truck and injure itself. Alt News ran a search and found the video from 2016 has nothing to do with PETA and that it was pertaining to the movement of an elephant to a rehab centre.
