People are protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in various places in India. Following this the Bharatiya Janata Party's student wing, Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is claimed to be protesting against CAA in Assam. The pictures of the protest are going viral on Facebook and twitter with the hashtag #ABVPAssam.
On analysing the picture, it was found that the picture was captured by Ancela Jamindar, a photographer from Ahmedabad Mirror news. He said that the picture was captured when the ABVP members assembled in Sabarmati Ashram in support of CAA. He also said that the viral picture was morphed and not the original copy.
