CHENNAI: State Chief Secretary V Irai Anbu has implored district Collectors in the State to ensure availability of toilet facilities for the public in all the government office buildings.

In a DO letter to the district Collectors, Irai Anbu said that toilets should be provided for public in all government offices and send photograph.

In the letter, he lauded the Collectors for conducting cleaning activities in all the collectorates and making arrangements for resting rooms for the sanitary workers in the collector offices.

"Similarly, resting rooms for sanitary workers in all the government offices, government hospitals and others in the districts should be created through heads of the respective offices. This is to provide them space for resting and dining," he said of newly created facilities as a record.
