CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu COVID-19 cases stood at 285, including one imported case from UAE, with the total number of pandemic cases remaining at 35,88,734.

As many as 4,162 active cases are in the State currently, of which 2,168 are in Chennai. After 11,272 samples were tested for the virus, the overall TPR stood at 2.5 per cent and Krishnagiri recorded the highest of 4.6 per cent TPR. As many as 346 more people were discharged from several hospitals across the State, bringing the recoveries to 35,46,524. With no new deaths due to the virus in the past 24 hours, the death toll stood at 38,048.
