Thanjai SSI dies on duty

TIRUCHY: SSI from Thanjavur had a cardiac arrest while on duty and died on Saturday.

It is said, R Ravichandran (57), SSI attached to the Thanjavur Traffic unit.

On Saturday, Ravichandran who was on duty had a severe chest pain ànd told the colleagues who rushed him to the Thanjavur medical College hospital from where he was taken to a private hospital. However, Ravichandran succumbed despite treatment. Ravichandran was survived by wife Sumathi a son and a daughter.

The police officials paid tribute to the mortal remains of the SSI Ravichandran.
