Partial cancellation of trains in Villupuram route: Check details

CHENNAI: Pattern of several express train services would be partially cancelled owing to line block at Villupuram Yard of Tiruchy Division for annual maintenance work.

Train no: 06725 Melmaruvathur – Villupuram Junction MEMU Express Special leaving Melmaruvathur at 11.15 hrs on 15th, 19th, 22nd, 26th, 29th September 3rd, 6th and 10th October will be partially cancelled between Vikravandi and Villupuram Junction. The train will run from Melmaruvathur to Vikravandi on the mentioned days.

Train no 06726 Villupuram Junction – Melmaruvathur MEMU Express Special leaving Villupuram Junction at 13.45 hrs on 15th, 19th, 22nd, 26th, 29th, September 3rd, 6th and 10th October will be partially cancelled between Villupuram Junction and Vikravandi. The train will commence its journey from Vikravandi at its scheduled departure time of 14.00 hrs on the mentioned days and will run from Vikravandi to Melmaruvathur.

Similarly, due to maintenance works at Virudunagar Junction in Madurai division, train no 16731 Palakkad Junction – Tiruchendur Express leaving Palakkad Junction at 05.15 hrs on 14th September will be partially cancelled between Dindigul Junction and Tiruchendur. The train will run from Palakkad Junction to Dindigul Junction on the mentioned day.

Train no 16732 Tiruchendur – Palakkad Junction Express leaving Tiruchendur at 12.05 hrs on 14th September will be partially cancelled between Tiruchendur and Dindigul Junction. The train will commence its journey from Dindigul Junction at the scheduled 18.00 hrs on the mentioned day and it will run from Dindigul Junction to Palakkad Junction.

Train no 16731 Palakkad Junction – Tiruchendur Express leaving Palakkad Junction at 05.15 hrs on 15th September will be partially cancelled between Madurai Junction and Tiruchendur. The train will run from Palakkad Junction to Madurai Junction on the mentioned day, a statement from Southern Railway said.

Train no 16732 Tiruchendur – Palakkad Junction Express leaving Tiruchendur at 12.05 hrs on 15th September will be partially cancelled between Tiruchendur and Madurai Junction. The train will commence its journey from Madurai Junction at rescheduled time of 18.30 hrs on the mentioned day.
