Health Secy inaugurates orthopaedic & sports centre
The centre 7Scope Ortho Care Hospital would provide orthopaedic consultation, physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation, along with return to sports training and sports medicine.
CHENNAI: An exclusive orthopaedic and sports centre was inaugurated by Health Secretary Dr P Senthilkumar in the presence of the founder of the facility Dr Karthik Anand, Orthopaedic - Arthroscopy Surgeon Consultant at MGM HealthCare, in the city on Thursday. The centre 7Scope Ortho Care Hospital would provide orthopaedic consultation, physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation, along with return to sports training and sports medicine.
The facility also has training programme for injury prevention, pain management, regenerative medicine and sports psychology. The Yoga Rehab combined with modern technology is designed to be used as a method of pain relief for patients suffering from body aches and other common postural problems. For sports rehab and return to sports training, a strategic approach in the form of physiotherapy and rehabilitation has been designed, in addition to surgical or medical treatment.
