Change in express train services on Sept 1,2: Schedule here

CHENNAI: Services of several express trains would be changed on September 1 and 2 to facilitate engineering works for providing an additional Loop Line at Tirupattur railway station.

Train No.16087 Arakkonam Junction – Salem Junction MEMU Express, scheduled to leave Arakkonam Junction at 05.15 hrs, will be partially cancelled between Jolarpettai Junction – Salem Junction on 01.09.2022. The train will run from Arakkonam Junction to Jolarpettai Junction only on 01.09.2022; it will not run from Jolarpettai Junction – Salem Junction.

Train No.16088 Salem Junction – Arakkonam Junction MEMU Express, scheduled to leave Salem Junction at 15.30 hrs, will be partially cancelled between Salem Junction – Jolarpettai Junction on 01.09.2022. The train will not run from Salem Junction to Jolarpettai Junction on 01.09.2022; it will leave from Jolarpettai Junction and run upto Arakkonam Junction.

Train No.06846 Erode Junction – Jolarpettai Junction Passenger Special Train, scheduled to leave Erode Junction at 16.10 hrs and reach Jolarpettai Junction at 21.30 hrs, will be fully cancelled on 01.09.2022.

Train No.22650 Erode Junction – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Yercaud Express, scheduled to leave Erode Junction at 21.00 hrs on 01.09.2022, will skip the stoppage at Tirupattur. The train will not stop at Tirupattur Railway station on 01.09.2022.

Train No.06412 Erode Junction – Jolarpettai Junction Passenger Special train, scheduled to leave Erode Junction at 06.25 hrs on 02.09.2022, will be short terminated at Samalpatti. The train will not run from Samalpatti to Jolarpettai Junction.

Train No.06411 Jolarpettai Junction – Erode Junction Passenger Special train, scheduled to leave Jolarpettai Junction at 15.10 hrs on 02.09.2022, will instead leave from Samalpatti and run up to Erode Junction. The train will not run from Jolarpettai Junction to Samalpatti.

Train No.06845 Jolarpettai Junction – Erode Junction Passenger Special Train, scheduled to leave Jolarpettai Junction at 05.30 hrs and reach Erode Junction at 10.50 hrs, will be fully cancelled on 02.09.2022.

Train No.16525 Kanniyakumari – KSR Bengaluru Express, scheduled to leave Kanniyakumari on 01.09.2022, will skip the stoppage at Tirupattur on 02.09.2022. Instead, the train will be given a stoppage at Kagankarai Railway station on 02.09.2022.

Train No.16614 Coimbatore Junction – Rajkot Weekly Express, scheduled to leave Coimbatore Junction at 00.15 hrs on 02.09.2022, will skip the stoppage at Tirupattur on 02.09.2022. Instead, the train will be given a stoppage at Kagankarai Railway station on 02.09.2022.

Train No.22638 Mangalore Central – Dr. MGR Chennai Central West Coast Express, scheduled to leave Mangalore Central at 23.45 hrs on 01.09.2022, will skip the stoppage at Tirupattur on 02.09.2022. Instead, the train will be given a stoppage at Kagankarai Railway station on 02.09.2022, a statement issued by Southern Railway (SR) said.
