COIMBATORE: Chief Minister MK Stalin said that more than 60 to 70 per cent of poll promises were fulfilled by the DMK government in the last one year. “Before Assembly polls, the DMK released a state wide manifesto and one separately for districts. Upto 70 per cent of poll promises were fulfilled and the remaining promises will also be implemented step by step. Not just that, even those, which were not announced, will be implemented,” he said, while addressing party cadre in Pollachi. “If the DMK stands firm over the last 70 years, it is because of our strong ideology,” he said. Ex MLA VC Arukutty from AIADMK, Thinakaran K from DMDK and BJP’s district committee member Mythili Vino joined the DMK in the presence of Chief Minister Stalin in Pollachi on Wednesday. Besides them, around 55,000 cadre from various political parties joined the DMK on Wednesday.
