Rajinikanth returns home from hospital after surgery

Dr Aravindan Selvaraj, co-founder and executive director of the hospital had earlier shared a health update stating that Rajinikanth is recovering well and the procedure was performed successfully after he was investigated by an expert panel of doctors from the hospital. The hospital is yet to release any official statement on his health post discharge. 

Chief Minister MK Stalin visited Rajinikanth at Kauvery Hospital earlier during the day. The actor underwent several tests and screening procedures after being hospitalised. The sources close to the actor had said that he is recovering well. His wife Latha Rajinikanth and his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth who were also there at the hospital, said that there was nothing to worry about. 

Meanwhile, Stalin visited Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital where CPM state secretary K Balakrishnan was being treated. Video footage provided by the DMK showed Stalin interacting with the Marxist state secretary in the hospital room. Senior Marxist leader TK Rangarajan was also present. Balakrishnan was admitted to RGGGH after he complained of breathing difficulty.
