While many are unable to process the registration after filling in candidate details, others complain of the website being reset multiple times. “I could not get past the registration process for the payment of fees or choice of college for many hours. Not just with the government website, but the process is getting delayed in deemed universities also,” said V Dhanvanth, a medical aspirant from Madurai.

“The website kept reloading after I opted for the type of counselling. The payment process was not getting completed and I could not submit the application,” said Vasantha Kumar, another aspirant.

Officials from the Directorate of Medical Education’s selection committee said that the website is being checked and the glitch could be a result of a server or connectivity issue. They added that since counselling would be offline, the process is expected to be smoother.
