TN records 3,859 new recovered cases
The active cases in Chennai has been below 1,000 for seven straight days.

The number of people cured of COVID19 on Wednesday in Tamil Nadu was 3,859 which took the tally of the total recovered cases to 6,79, 377, according to the reports of Department of Health and family welfare.
Meanwhile, 2,516 new COVID19 cases were recorded which increased the total cases to 7,16,751 and the deaths due to COVID19 was 35 making the total mortality to be 11,018.
Chennai recorded 688 active COVID cases on Wednesday. The active cases in Chennai has been below 1,000 for seven straight days.
71,147 people were tested for coronavirus in TN in the last 24 hours and altogether 94,68,838 people have been tested so far.
Earlier, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami met the health experts and higher officials to decide the next course of action. He said that TN was in the recovery phase of the pandemic.
