Lockdown in Tamil Nadu extended again till October 31, restriction on suburban trains continues
While restriction on theatre opening will continue, movie shootings will be allowed to take place in Tamil Nadu with maximum 100 persons in the shooting spot.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has extended the lockdown restrictions till October 31. The suburban trains in the state will continue to shut down its operation until further announcement.
The TN government has released new lockdown guidelines for the upcoming month. They are as follows,
- The government has nodded 'Yes' for movie shootings to take place, but with only 100 people on the set.Â
- The restrictions on suburban trains in the state will continue.
- Restrictions on theatres, swimming pools and other entertainment sites like parks and beaches will continue.
- Government training centres and institutions are allowed to function by following social-distancing guidelines.
- Educational institutions like schools, colleges and research centres will remain to shut down.Â
- Restrictions on popular tourist spots inside the state will continue.
- Except the air routes approved by the government, access to other international flights will remain curbed.
