Tiruppur: Brought in for questioning, man dies in police custody
A man is suspected to have died while interrogation at a local police station in Tiruppur district in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday.

Manikandan, a resident of Jai Nagar, died after being brought to Nallur police station for inquiry in a case.
The victim's body has been sent to hospital for the purpose of autopsy.
Enraged relatives arrived at the police station and staged a protest. They also besieged the hospital and engaged in a struggle.
The incident sent shock waves among the community and a stark remainder of the sensational Sathankulam case in which a father-son duo were tortured to death in police custody.
