With less than six months for the poll code of conduct to come into force, the chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami led AIADMK government is on an inaugural spree on pending projects.

The state is also fine-tuning fresh policies related to the industry, agriculture, Tamil development, local administration and education departments.

CM EPS had also instructed the agriculture department to come out with a report on action taken against errant government staff involved in the PM Kisan scheme.

According to informed secretariat sources back to back meetings have resumed at the state headquarters to keep pushing the pending projects so that all the works are completed by December.

Over the next four months, the state will witness district wise inaugurals of bridges, highways and hospital construction works taken by state departments.

The senior government officials are also taking note on the district wise schemes that are pending and issues that must be addressed ahead of the elections.

The state machinery is also creating a database related to the court cases, litigations, department enquiries related to controversial subjects that may be raked by the opposition party DMK targeting the AIADMK government.

Health department records related to Corona and the state’s achievements in the individual departments are also to be released ahead of the next year elections, sources said.
