TN assembly session to convene on September 14, DMK seeks extension
MLAs are advised to test for coronavirus 72 hours prior to the session.
Chennai
After the Business Advisory Committee led by Speaker Dhanapal, the session is decided to be held for three days from September 14 to 16.
In the view of coronavirus prevention, the session will be held in Kalaivanar Arangam and not at the principal assembly hall at the Fort, where it is usually held. Arrangement for the session is in progress
MLAs are advised to test for coronavirus 72 hours prior to the session.
Meanwhile, senior DMK leader Durai Murugan requested a seven-day session feeling three days won't suffice for the issues at hand.
He listed out issues like Central government trying to subvert the State government in the implementation of National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020).Â
Durai Murugan accuses this as a sly attempt to impose Hindi on the people of Tamil Nadu.
