TN COVID 19 toll: 5,859 recovered on Saturday taking the total recovery count to 3,98,366

In the past 24 hours, a total of 5,859 people were discharged after they got cured from COVID 19, taking the total recovery rate to 3,98,366 in the state of Tamil Nadu.

About 5,870 tested positive today taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 4,57,697. The state has as many as 51,583 positive cases of COVID 19 as on Saturday.

Today, 61 have succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll in the state to 7,748.

As many as 81,793 samples were tested today and a total of 52,12,534 samples were tested in the sate from the day the pandemic started spreading.
