Tamil Nadu records 127 Covid fatalities in single day

Tamil Nadu has reported 5,860 fresh Coronavirus cases on Saturday, according to the bulletin of the state's health department. The total infected numbers have reached 3,32,105 in the state now.

The state saw 127 Covid-19 fatalities in a single day. The total number of death toll stands at 5,641. 

Chennai recorded 1,179 new cases today. The city is seeing a mild rise in Covid cases after a brief gap. For the past few days, Chennai saw less than 1000 cases per day. However, the count is seeing an increase again. 

The other districts have registered 4,501 new covid cases in the past 24 hours.
