No public celebrations on Vinayagar Chaturthi: Tamil Nadu Government

In the view of coronavirus pandemic, the state government has declined permission to celebrate Vinayagar Chaturthi in public.

Government has recommended people to celebrate the festival in their homes.

Also, this year immersion of idols will too be not allowed by the government.

Vinayagar Chaturthi falls on August 22.
