BJP government opportunistic in its NEP implementation: MK Stalin

DMK supremo MK Stalin has come down heavily on the ruling BJP government in its decision to implement New Education Policy (NEP).

He issued a statement criticising that the Modi-led BJP government going against rights enshrined by the constitution furtively as the nation is now tussling with the Coronavirus pandemic.

Further in his criticism the Kolathur MLA said that when the 10th and +2 system is progressing seamlessly the central government is unnecessarily thrusting the 5+3+3+4 system which could psychologically affect the students.

Stalin was positive that they would successfully deflect the NEP just like they gained victory in the reservation issue and restore a secular form of education.

He also mentioned that he was in talks with the CMs and other political party leaders across India to join hands with the DMK to resist NEP and fight to safeguard the future of students.
