Puducherry Chief Minister, Speaker test negative for coronavirus

COVID-19 tests were conducted for Narayansamy, Sivakolunthu, Ministers, Legislators and staff of Legislative Assembly due to NR Congress legislator NSJ Jayabal testing positive for the virus. Tests were also conducted for as many as 126 persons on the Assembly premises on Monday and of which all, except six, were tested negative. The six persons- staff of Assembly and watch and ward —who tested positive for the virus were being taken for treatment. Tests will be conducted for their family members too, according to a release from the health department here.
