TNEA schedule for 2020-21 out, online registration begins today

Releasing the time table, Higher Education Minister KP Anbalagan said the last date of registration of applications is August 16. Original certificates can be uploaded between July 31 and August 20. Stating that random numbers will be assigned on August 21, the Minister said original certificate verifications will begin from August 24 and end on September 1. The rank list will be out on September 7 and counselling for special reservation category students will be held between September 10 and 14. Counselling for general category students is between September 17- October 6. For vocational course students, counselling is between September 10- October 12.

Directorate of Technical Education sources said this year, 1.47 lakh engineering seats are available in 500 TN colleges. The DOTE will also set up over 40 student’s facilitation centres across TN for counselling.
