All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi leader and actor Sarathkumar emphasized to the Tamil Nadu government on re-opening of gyms and exercise places in the state.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Tamil Nadu has allowed IT companies to function with 50% of employees as a measure of easing the lockdown. Politician Sarathkumar has stated that, in the same way the government should consider re-opening the gyms and allow them to function with 20% of people.
He has also stressed importance on the livelihood of the gym owners and employees and asked the government to allow the gyms to function. Â
